The Site Development department reviews design and excavation plans, issues
permits, and monitors performance, for driveways and building sites. Other
responsibilities are aimed at protecting public and environmental safety by performing
floodplain evaluations, defensible space inspections and enforcing Best Management
Practices to control erosion at job sites, and prevent sedimentation pollution of Clear
Creek's waterways. The Site Development department is the builders "initial
contact" and guide, through the process prior to applying for a building permit.
