Advocates are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be accessed by calling the Sheriff's office dispatch center or the 24 hour hot line. Advocates work with the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office, the 5th Judicial District Attorney's office, Idaho Springs, Empire and Georgetown Police Departments and other support groups. Although office space is donated by the Clear Creek Sheriff's office, the Clear Creek County Advocates provide services to all county residents. A variety of services are provided by the Advocates including emergency food and shelter. Donated items such as food, clothing, furniture and appliances are accepted at all times and with the support of a local business, supplies are housed in donated storage. A support group, headed by a licensed physiologist, meets on a weekly basis. Advocates also provide counseling referrals to other groups. The Advocates assist victims through the judicial system providing support, assistance and information. The Clear Creek County Advocates network with other advocate agencies throughout the state and nation. HELP US HELP YOU
