Free Recycling Program:
The Clear Creek County Recycling Center accepts recyclable products free of charge; your recycles must be clean and sorted.  This does not include electronics, batteries or bulbs.  In 2015 the public recycled over 414 tons of plastic, paper, cardboard, glass and metal at the facility.  Excellent job Clear Creek!

Electronics Recycling:
Our electronics recycling program offers the public a place to bring their unwanted or broken electronic devices to be properly recycled for a fee. This program includes batteries, fluorescent and grow bulbs, ballasts, microwaves and smoke detectors.  Colorado State law prohibits electronics in landfills.

The Transfer Station offers screened compost.  The compost material is low in salts and high in organic matter making it an excellent soil amendment for reclamation of disturbed soils, gardening or planting trees.  The material is available for $12.50/cubic yard for Clear Creek residents and $15/cubic yard for non-residents.  See the link below for the compost analytical results.
