On February 3, 2022, the County Board of Health rescinded Resolution 21-06, removing the mask order requirement in public indoor places. This resolution does not address the requirement of masks in school settings. The new Resolution 22-01 and its language can be found here.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends wearing a mask indoors in areas of substantial or high community transmission.

Local Emergency Disaster Declaration
On March 17th, 2020, Clear Creek County issued a Local Disaster Emergency Declaration, County Resolution 20-26, for the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 18th, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners issued Resolution 21-27, extending the local declaration through June 9, 2021. Declaring a Local Disaster Emergency activates response and recovery aspects of emergency and disaster plans, and qualifies the county for potential state and federal financial and other assistance.
