Educational presentations and facilitated discussions on a variety of health prevention and safety topics are provided free of charge by members of the Public and Environmental Health team and by regional resources when available. We can help coordinate your speaker needs. Service clubs, schools, community groups, non-profit organizations, and businesses may access our education services and may request educational materials.
We are often asked to provide speakers on a number of topics including: An overview of Public Health Services, public health emergency preparedness, adult and child vaccinations, flu, nutrition, chronic disease, helmet safety, youth tobacco prevention, septic tanks, restaurant and food safety, personal hygiene, women's health, maternal/child health, breastfeeding, household hazards, infection control and community health resources.
