County Releases 2018 General Election Results (Unofficial)
Nov. 7, 2018 – Clear Creek County Communications, Colo.—Clear Creek County completed its 2018 General Election, yesterday, and here were the (unofficial) results (by category):
County Commissioner (District 1): George Marlin (DEM): 2,774 votes; Michael Hillman (REP): 1,826 votes; Bill Macy (UAF): 467 votes; William Lee III (UAF): 111 votes.
County Clerk & Recorder: Brenda L. Corbett (REP): 2,550 votes; Elaine Lewers (DEM): 2,494 votes.

? County Treasurer—Carol Lee (DEM), unopposed (incumbent)
? County Assessor—Diane M. Settle (REP), unopposed (incumbent)
? County Sheriff—Rick Albers (DEM), unopposed (incumbent)
? County Surveyor—Greg Markle (DEM), unopposed (incumbent)
? County Coroner—Chris Hegmann (REP), unopposed (incumbent)
? Clear Creek School District RE-1 Ballot Issue 4A—Yes/For: 2,838//NO/Against: 2,200
? Clear Creek School District RE-1 Ballot Issue 4B---Yes/For: 3,068//No/Against: 1,971
? Town of Georgetown Ballot Issue 2A—Yes/For: 327//No/Against: 267
? Evergreen Fire Protection District Ballot Issue 7A—Yes/For: 1,381//No/Against: 627
Out of 8,244 registered voters, 5,330 ballots were cast—a 64.65% voter turnout. These results are unofficial until the canvass deadline of Nov. 28, 2018. County officials do expect to have final results by Nov. 15, 2018.
