The Clear Creek County “2018 Pavement Marking Program” begins the week of August 27 and continues through the week of September 3.  The proposed schedule for the work is as follows:

Centerline and Edge Striping:

Alvarado and Stanley Roads – Tuesday 8/28

Clear Creek County High School Entrance Drive, Ponderosa Drive and Fall River Road (York to Hamlin) – Wednesday 8/29

Saddleback Drive (Hyland to Santa Fe Road) -  Thursday 8/30

Old Squaw Pass Road – Friday 8/31

Bicycle Symbols, Arrows and Stop Bars:

Tuesday 9/4- Wednesday 9/6 on all of the above Roads, and in addition Circle K and Squaw Pass Roads)

The Road & Bridge Department
 is responsible for maintaining the condition of over 200 miles of roads within the County's approved maintenance plan, as well as performing Capital Improvement projects and other special construction projects as requested by the Clear Creek Board of County Commissioners.

Maintenance Activities
Winter maintenance includes snow removal from roadways, ice and water control, sanding icy conditions, and some avalanche control. Summer maintenance involves the grading of roadways; the replacement or addition of road surface materials such as road base, gravel, or asphalt; and some water control.
