Clear Creek County Public Works Division

• Road and Bridge
  • The Road and Bridge Department is responsible for maintaining the condition of roads within the County’s maintenance plan.
• Site Development
  • The Site Development Department administers regulations and standards for the construction of roads, driveways and other development sites.
• Engineering
  • The Engineering Department is responsible for developing and performing capital improvement projects and other special construction projects as requested by the Clear Creek Board of County Commissioners.
• Solid Waste and Recycling
  • The Transfer Station accepts various sorts of materials and offers an extensive recycling program.
• Transit
  • The Transit Department provides free transportation to and around the towns of Silver Plume, Georgetown, Empire and Idaho Springs seven days a week. 
• Noxious Weed Management
  • Noxious weeds throughout unincorporated areas of the County noxious weeds must be managed.
