Effective at 12:00 am Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is rescinding the Stage 1 Fire Ban that went into effect on Aug. 12. The ban is being lifted due to decreased wildland fire danger as a result of recent precipitation, healthy fuel moisture levels, and lower temperatures.

We encourage residents and visitors to remain diligent and exercise caution with open fires.  And we remind residents to register for Lookout Alert emergency notifications. In the event of an emergency, Lookout Alert is the quickest and most effective way to reach affected residents.
