Temporary Red Flag Warning Fire Ban 

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for today (Feb 24) for eastern portions of Clear Creek County. The warning will be in effect from 10am - 5pm. Due to the Red Flag Warning, ALL of Clear Creek County will be in a temporary Stage 1 Fire Ban for the same time period today, from 10am - 5pm. Red Flag Warnings are issued by the National Weather Service when fire danger is critical due to high winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels such as vegetation, brush, trees, etc.

Any time a Red Flag Warning is issued for any portion of Clear Creek County, the entire county will be in a temporary Stage 1 Fire Ban, for the duration of the Red Flag Warning.
