Clear Creek County Public Notice Rezoning Case #RZ2012-0005
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following amendment to the Clear Creek County Zoning Maps has been proposed to the Board of County Commissioners, Clear Creek County, State of Colorado:
Location: Parcel A of a Portion of Government Lot 1, Section 3, Township 4S, Range, 72W, 6th P.M., Clear Creek County, Colorado, located southwest of the intersection of U.S. Hwy 6 and U.S. Hwy 40 with an address of 140 Frei Way.
Existing Zoning: NR-PC (Natural Resource – Preservation Conservation)
Request: The applicant requests to rezone a portion of split-zoned property from NR-PC to Industrial to match current zoning on the north portion of the property. No additional development other than what currently exists on the property is proposed at this time, other than the relocation of certain existing structures.
Acreage: Portion of parcel proposed to be rezoned from NR-PC to Industrial: 9.4 acres
Portion of parcel that has already been rezoned to Industrial:3.2 acres
Entire parcel:12.6 acres
Public Hearings: The Clear Creek County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 19st day of September, 2012 at 6:30 pm to consider the rezoning application before recommending approval, approval with conditions, or denial to the Board of County Commissioners. The location of the public hearing is the Idaho Springs City Hall, 1711 Miner Street, Idaho Springs, CO 80452, where and when all parties may appear and be heard.
Prior to final action, the Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the 8th day of October, 2012, at 9:00 am to consider the rezoning application. The location of the public hearing is the Commissioners' Hearing Room in the Clear Creek County Courthouse, 405 Argentine Street, Georgetown CO, 80444, where and when all parties may appear and be heard.
