The Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying an individual suspected of using stolen credit cards to purchase over $1,300 in merchandise. At 12:30pm on Saturday, March 7, the man seen in this video and the attached Crime Stoppers bulletin is suspected of using multiple stolen credit cards to purchase gift cards and other items at the Target Store, located at Colorado Mills Mall, Lakewood. The credit cards and $100 in cash were stolen shortly after 11:20am that same day, March 7, from a vehicle parked at the Beaver Brook Canyon trailhead parking lot near Hwy 103 and Pine Valley Rd in Clear Creek County.
The individual suspected of using the stolen credit cards was wearing a black beanie hat, black jacket, blue sweatpants, and black shoes. He was also wearing glasses. If anyone recognizes this man or has information on this case, they are asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP); reference case number 26000235. Tipsters remain anonymous and may receive up to a $2,000 reward.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven otherwise through the judicial process.
